Department of Public Instruction – Otherwise known as the DPI, is where our substitutes can obtain their educator licenses.

Mandated Reporting – The Stevens Point Area Public School District requires that our substitutes go through this short, free, 45 min training that covers how to spot and report child abuse in the workplace. You can click the link down below that will lead you to the Department of Public Instruction site (DPI) where you can access this training.

STEDI – Sub Skills Training Course is a 4-6 hour training course that will teach you basic classroom management and required subs skills. This certification is required by the Department of Public Instruction (DPI) to be uploaded during the licensing process for Short Term Substitute Licenses. This course is $39.95

Parchment – Official transcripts are required for those getting a Short Term Substitute License. Transcripts can be ordered through a site called Parchment, another transcript ordering site or through the college you attended.

Fingerprinting –Fingerprinting through DPI approved vendors if you have lived or worked outside the state of Wisconsin or another country in the last 20 years. (Inquire with Fidelis regarding Field Print Number which is required for setting up appointments with vendors).
